Ongoing Research
The Energy Solutions Centre is undertaking a Basement Insulation Study. The objective of this project is to quantify the impact of alternate basement insulation placements upon heating loads in Yukon housing and commercial buildings. The analysis will consider full-depth basements (floor slab located 1.6 m below grade) for both convective and in-floor heating situations. For more information contact us.
